Hard Cheese Grating

The Hard Cheese Grating and Shredding Line starts with cubing hard cheese through an MS40 hard cheese cuber. The cubes are then conveyed up a metering belt and fed into a shredder or high speed grinder for grated product. The shredder or grinder can be changed out in minutes to accomodate different production requirements. The cheese then drops onto a collection shaker where the starch/cellulose is applied. From there the product is transferred to the tumble drum for mixing and then transferred to the packaging area.

MS40 Dual Cheese Cubing Machine
Designed to handle hard cheese such as Romano or Parmesan for cubing prior to grating or shredding with all knife harps.
Grinder / Mill Feed System for grating hard cheese
Cubes are conveyed in to the grinder/mill feed for producing grated product. This can easily be changed out with the shredder to accommodate different production requirements.
Dual Divert Chute
Feeds (2) shredders consistently for higher production rates
Meters the flow of cellulose, starch or other powder mixes onto the food product. Optional vibrator or pneumatic fluidizer can be added if required. The infeed hoppers, covers & vacuum transfer system can be custom designed to meet your filling needs. Available in either floor level model or access stairs model for different filling configuration needs.
Tumble / Mixing Drum
A proven method of mixing food products & applying cellulose or starch while minimizing product damage. A dry powder dispenser or liquid spray applicator can be combined with the Tumble/Mixing Drum for coating products with salt, spices, anti-caking agents and mold inhibitors.
